So I just got back from an outreach in Eastern Kentucky and God was really putting in my spirit the he wanted to release hope. In fact on the way to the outreach God brought back a painting that I did a few years ago. It was a simple painting of a tree branch in the autumn season and some leaves falling down. When I was thinking about it, i got to see a scene as if in someones memory. It was of a little girl sitting under an autumn tree and she was having so much fun watching the leaves fall. I could tell that this was her favorite season and it brought much joy to her. I asked God what was He trying to get me to understand, then He showed me the word I painted on the painting....HOPE and as fast as I saw this it went away. Later that night I got to share what God was showing me with those as the service. And sure enough there was a lady there that said that was her! I just love it how God works. He knows us, He really knows everything about us. But why is Hope so important? Why was God really highlighting hope for that service that night?
Hebrews 11:1 states that following " Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." If we don't have hope then we loose our faith, and without faith we cannot please God. (Hebrews 11:6) and without hope and faith you cant walk out the path that God has placed before. If you read the whole chapter of Hebrews 11 it list over and over those that had the hope, had the faith, and walked out their destinies that God had for them. So the question that I have for you do you want to walk out the destiny that God has for you? Then get your hope on! Grab onto the dream that God has for you, build your hope in it and receive the faith to walk it out! Until next time........Get out there and create.
